Alright, I've had about enough of this.
Since when does being single mean being alone or being lonely? Pull yourselves together, people! New Year’s is going to be great, calm down and grab some champagne for Christ’s sake! (and by champagne I obviously mean sparkling apple cider, this is me we’re talking about)

Zénaïde Alexeïevna Ragozin
This is Miss Zénaïde Alexeïevna Ragozin, a complete and total badass. Born in Russia in 1835, she was not given any formal schooling. She instead educated herself and became an historian. She also travelled extensively throughout Europe, particularly Italy, before coming to the United States - where she was naturalized a citizen - in 1874. She specialized in ancient Mesopotamian history as well...

if i ever have children they are going to hate me
because i’m going to name them all after literary characters and they’re going to get bullied so bad like little melquíades gatsby is going to get his ass kicked on the playground …yeah perhaps it is better for the universe that i just stay eternally single!

Anónimo ha preguntado: Thus in winter stands the lonely tree, Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one, Yet knows its boughs more silent than before: I cannot say what loves have come and gone, I only know that summer sang in me A little while, that in me sings no more.

Anónimo ha preguntado: Man, now there are two Anonymoi who use your ask to post Neruda quotes. Also, the original would like to express his appreciation of the new URL. And the change of color scheme, which makes reading about Auden's influence on people's lives far less eye-scalding than whatever red was going on before.

Anónimo ha preguntado: I'm encircled by a single thing, a single movement: a mineral weight, a honeyed lightcling to the sound of the word "noche":the tint of wheat, of ivory, of tears, things of leather, of wood, of wool, archaic, faded, uniform, collect around me like walls.

not just a new URL. a new outlook.
this is <rebuildourcities>, formerly known as estelada. my previous URL referred to the Catalan nationalist flag, which I still proudly wave and wear, because it is incredibly important to me. (not to mention that the Catalan struggle means a lot to me symbolically and all that but anyway this is a time for a new story.) I changed to rebuildourcities because it’s what I need to...
